This recipe is like Dogfish Head's Midas Touch, but with a twist. Tupelo honey source: http://www.floridatupelohoney.com/ "Grape Juice Concentrate" is actually Winexpert Concentrate, White Grape. The brix is for 1 gallon of concentrate. We will get 4 500ml bottles (2000 ml, about 1/2 a gallon). Aim for 1.047 OG from grain. 1.107 is the *predicted* final gravity. Add honey at end of boil (flameout) Add 10 saffron threads at end of boil (flameout). Add grape juice concentrate at end of boil (flameout.) Ferment cool -- 65F |
